There are achievements in pharmacy that deserve more than a quiet thank you at the end of a busy day. The Scottish Pharmacy Awards give the people behind those achievements their moment in the spotlight, surrounded by the colleagues, friends and teams who know what it took to get there.
The awards return on Saturday 17th April 2027 at the EICC in Edinburgh. It promises to be a night to celebrate the talent, care and ambition found in pharmacies across Scotland. Nominations are now open, and the search is on for the individuals and teams whose work deserves to be recognised.
A night worth remembering
Last year’s ceremony showed just how much there is to celebrate. Campbeltown Pharmacy took home both the Customer Award and the Commitment to Health and Wellbeing Award. Glenn Davie of Barnton Pharmacy and Travel Clinic was named Pharmacist of the Year, while Bruntsfield Pharmacy, Travel and Health Clinic won Community Pharmacy of the Year.
The evening also included a moving tribute to the late Bryan Lamb, who was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy Award. Together, those moments captured the breadth of the awards: outstanding patient care, fresh ideas, years of service and the people whose influence reaches far beyond their own pharmacy.
Whose story should we hear in 2027
This year’s categories offer plenty of ways to recognise the work happening every day. They celebrate pharmacists developing services, team members whose care makes a lasting impression, pharmacies finding better ways to serve their communities and colleagues who have dedicated more than 25 years to community pharmacy.
The Customer Award gives patients a voice, too. Through a QR code, they can share their experiences and vote for the pharmacy team that has made a difference to them.
Think about the people you work alongside. Who has brought a new idea to life? Who keeps a team going when the day gets difficult? Who has made patients feel heard, helped colleagues grow or changed what their pharmacy can offer? Their story could inspire others across Scotland.

The Scottish Pharmacy Awards are a chance to pause, look around and recognise what Scotland’s pharmacy community is achieving. On 17 April, finalists and supporters will come together in Edinburgh for the applause, the celebrations and the shared pride of seeing great work recognised.
