The customer award
This is the voice of the patient brought to life. Every vote comes directly from the people who matter most, the customers who walk through your doors and trust you with their care. By scanning a QR code, patients can champion the pharmacy team that has supported, guided and cared for them. Their testimonials will help shape the entries, and their votes will decide the winner. This award is more than recognition, it is a reflection of the impact pharmacy teams have on real lives every single day.
Commitment to health and wellbeing
This category recognises Independent Prescribing Pharmacists and their teams who are using their skills to make a real difference in patient care. It is open to all prescribing pharmacists and their supporting teams, whether working as contractors, employees, or in practice-based settings. The award celebrates those who have made an exceptional contribution to their communities through the delivery of safe, accessible, and innovative prescribing services that improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
Community Pharmacy Service
This category honours the dedicated individuals within pharmacy teams who have served their local communities for more than 25 years.
Nominations must be submitted by pharmacy business owners or managers.
Pharmacy team Member of the Year
This category is open to all members of pharmacy staff (excluding pharmacists), including pharmacy assistants, technicians, dispensers, and drivers. Entrants should be able to demonstrate an exceptional contribution to their pharmacy’s services and the positive impact of their work on patients, colleagues, and the wider community.
Advancing Independent Pharmacy
This award celebrates pharmacists and their teams who have embraced new technologies and fresh ways of working to transform patient care, improve safety and drive greater operational effectiveness.
Pharmacist of the Year
This category is open to contractor and employee pharmacists working in either independent or group pharmacies who can demonstrate a strong record of innovative and progressive initiatives. Entries should highlight how their work enhances and showcases the vital role of community pharmacy in healthcare. Nominations may be submitted by the pharmacists themselves, their colleagues, or pharmacy business owners.
Community Pharmacy of the Year
This category is open to all pharmacies, whether independent or part of a chain, that can demonstrate a strong business profile and a proven track record of delivering initiatives and projects that benefit their local communities.
