Numark relaunches PharmAssist platform following redesign based on member feedback

Numark has relaunched PharmAssist, its buying and price comparison platform, following a comprehensive rebuild informed by feedback from independent pharmacy members.

The original platform, developed to support purchasing and ordering, required updating following the operating environment for community pharmacies considerably shifting in recent years. Numark has undertaken a full redevelopment to ensure the tool continues to meet members’ needs.

The redesign was shaped by direct consultation with Numark members, including pharmacies currently using the platform and those who had previously used it. Key areas for improvement included product and pricing visibility, search functionality, navigation speed, and the overall ordering process.

New features include:

  • Web-based access across pharmacy environments
  • Enhanced pricing and product information
  • Greater control options at point of order
  • Order history tracking and oversight capabilities

Rhys Martin, Head of Proposition at Numark, said: “The redesign reflects what we have learned from our members about the challenges they face in their purchasing decisions. The platform is designed to reduce complexity in the ordering process and provide clearer information when making purchasing choices.”

The platform is available to Numark members at no additional cost beyond their existing membership.

Numark intends to continue gathering member feedback as the platform evolves.
